As I was browsing a few nights ago, I came across this little gem of a list on Time.com. Now, I am by no means a car buff. I lift up the hood, put in the washer fluid, and on my way. The closest I get to greasy elbows is from hiding under cars after doorbell ditching the neighbors....again. Nor am I any kind of buff for that matter. I think we all have a list of things we would like to be buffs on. Maybe that's another blog, I already feel myself drifting from my original topic here, I can only imagine how captivating it must be for you. Anyway, in this list that Dan Neil compiled for Time there is true testimony of just how far a crazy idea can go when unattended by rational, educated adults. American Ingenuity is a crazy thing. Amazing what we come up with that seem like 6th grade welding shop project gone awry. Yet, for now, we still lead the world economically. But more importantly than the cars, the writing is simply perfect. There are some great lines in there. The link in the title above will take you there. Read on.
