One of the most enjoyable parts of the Christmas season is bundling up our kids, strapping them in the Odyssey, and taking them over the river and through the woods to see Christmas lights.
We love it. We have become veritable Light Connoisseurs.
We have found that newer subdivisions are not as fun to see lights in as older ones. I don't know if it is because newer subdivisions have to have things just "so" and older subdivisions are more like, "Hey, these one's work, let's put them up."
So it tends to make for more fun.
It begs the question: What are your favorite type of lights?

Tons of white lights are probably my favorite, honestly. And I love it when people do their trees like temple square! But I hate icicle lights--they do NOT look like icicles.
My favorite is my parents house. My dad puts them us himself and has ever since I can remember. I have lived in that house since I was four. It is my HOME. I love the pics.
