In my life there are a number of things that I fall victim to. A "Vice-Grip" if you will. Let me prepare a short list:
-My wife
-Golf
-Music
-Guitar
-Maps
-Airplanes
-Biking

I make no excuses, there it is, it is out there for all to see. These are my addictions. You may have similar addictions. I hope none of them include my wife. Let's put her in another category. But now, all those may have become mere hobbies. A new addiction has knocked on the door of my subconscious, brought himself in and out of the rain, sat on the couch of my Prefrontal Cortex and insists on staying. His name is:

STEEP AND CHEAP

Once thought of as only a site for men who love outdoor gadgets and gear, it has taken over our house like the sweet aroma of burnt popcorn in the microwave. The premise is simple: Each day they bring out several RIDICULOUSLY cheap deals on extremely good stuff, i.e. clothing, footwear, camping & hiking stuff, ski stuff - you name it. The have only that thing for sale until it is gone. 50-70% off, man! Not amazing enough, you say? Try it, check back a couple of times during the day, we'll see how long you last without getting sucked into the vortex of unneeded gear.
