In a seemingly endless world of opportunity to capture life's little quotations when uttered by children, I share with you the following exerpt from tonight's pre-bed routine:
Jodi is collecting clothes to be taken downstairs to be laundered. As she helps Matt take his shirt off, she brushes his armpit and then makes the following comment:
Jodi: Matt, did you use deodorant today?
Matt: No, I used it yesterday.
Brandon: Both you and Brayden need to use it every day, or guess what - stinkerville.
Matt: I don't have to use it everyday, look, the package says "48 hrs."
Those advertisers have no idea how much hurt they are putting into our lives.

Here I am on your blog, listening to your music...again, and I must say this "Autumn leaves" by Eva Cassidy always gives my heart a tug. I don't know what it is about it, but I sort of want to look out the window and cry while it's playing.
(sniff, sniff)
By the way, I'm going to go look for some 48 hour deodorant for me. What a great idea!
