It was a while ago that I mentioned about the desire to be a buff. I wanted to take a few minutes to talk about that idea. I wonder if many of you have the same feelings. There is something inside us that wants to have the upper hand in any conversation on a number of subjects. Yet, I believe, we only have a couple of topics which we are comfortable in taking the position of authority on in a conversation. I have been there many times, when someone starts a conversation about a subject that interests us yet we know nothing about. Well, it's time for me to hang my laundry out to dry in the front yard. I know a few Buffs in my life. But I am going to let you all see my bloomers as I list the areas of Buff-ness I desire to have. Don't judge me, you could be me in another life, in another set of circumstances. Some of them may offend you.

6. How to remove ink stains from dress shirt sleeves Buff
7. Child Psychology Buff
8. Japanese History Buff

11. Home Decor Buff
12. Church History Buff
13. Architecture Buff
14. American Revolution Buff
15. Soccer Buff
16. Creative Gift Buff
I am sure there are many others that I can't think of right now. Thanks for not giggling.

I agree. How about adding a few of these confessions to the list.
1. conspiracy-debuking buff (which may require that you are a buff in all areas previously mentioned)
2. insightful friend buff (the meaningful comment, the listening ear, the follow-up at critical times)
3. fix-it-yourself buff (anything would be good. cars, house, yard, electronics, diet, lack of bufffness in other categories, etc.)
4. artistic buff (make all things a bit more creative/artsy with my touch)
5. witty buffy (this comment could even be better. . .but even now I am struggling)
